<h3 class="wp-block-heading" id="h-building-for-the-builders"><strong>Building for the builders</strong></h3>



<p>To maximize their impact on the exhibition floor, the tech giant shifted away from traditional setups in favor of a dynamic, content-first physical space with the creation of a custom in-booth theater. </p>



<p>A clever layout and use of the space made Microsoft&#8217;s 9&#215;6 exhibitor booth truly stand out,  but it was the quality and relevance of the content that kept attendees flocking and engaging with the company. </p>



<p>At Web Summit Vancouver, Microsoft obtained 1,447 high-quality Company Leads, including public sector decision-makers and executives with the power to sign-off on enterprise-grade partnerships.</p>



<p>Michelle Tam, Marketing Manager at Microsoft, spoke to us about this approach and about Microsoft&#8217;s experience at Web Summit Vancouver 2026.</p>

<h3 class="wp-block-heading" id="h-demystifying-the-ai-transformation"><strong>Demystifying the AI transformation</strong></h3>



<p>Once attendees arrived at the space, conversations naturally gravitated toward the future of agentic AI and human-machine collaboration. Michelle explained that the company&#8217;s primary messaging focused on demystifying these new tools through hands-on exploration.</p>



<p>However, unstructured innovation is only one half of the equation. As businesses focus on implementation, safe and responsible deployment is a critical priority.</p>



<p>&#8220;The second part is seeing Microsoft as a trusted and intelligent partner as part of the AI transformation and journey,&#8221; Michelle noted. &#8220;We have learned from many years from the enterprise and commercial space the parameters that need to be put in place to drive responsible AI.&#8221;</p>

Ultimately, the success of this dual-audience strategy relied on the undeniable value of stepping away from digital screens to build genuine trust.</p>
